1:45 am	I saved a tree frog today. It had wandered into our house somehow, wandered over the floor that we need to vacum pretty badly it seems and managed to wind a good inch or two cubic wad of hair around its various limbs and main body. I saved it. I stole it from our kitties who were torturing it horribly, and sat and plucked hair off it then gave it a bath. Eric made fun of me for giving the tree frog a bath. He asked "Why do you care? Are you that bitch?" Because he listens to Eminem too much and Vyr loves that line. I set the treefrog whom I named Freddy on the tree outside our house and wished him a happy life. I think Merry Miss Truss Pot would have been proud of me. 11:28 am	SCHIZZLE!! Rawr! Keenspace is down guys! They had some sort of server crash and nearly lost everything, unfortuitously. I found like 50 books I wanted (well more like 15 but..) and I got a library card (damn not living in Jefferson county.. had to pay 20$ for it for the year, but Jen split it with me since we can both use it.) and I got all the books I wanted! I got Japanese language books and a book from my childhood I'd been looking to reread for years and a book I liked in school and and and.. It was GREAT! ^-^ I feel like such a geek tho. I mean really. We walk into the place.. glance at the rows of books.. then up.. and up.. and up.. and its like.. "Woah.. spontaneous orgasm much?" XD So I is ta reading. I also have been enjoying my two issues of Fake and the fourth of Grav that just came in finalllly!!!! Damn you Walden for making me wait -_-() And there are movies. I am trying to get my hands on a copy of The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert so Jen can watch it. Its like To Wong Foo, Thanks for everything, Julie Newmar about 10 year earlier, in Australlia with HUGO WEAVING AS A DRAG QUEEN!!! OMGOMGOMG! I love that movie so much ^-^ Its priceless! (which means I should buy it -_- But I needs the monies) OOH! which reminds me: Birthday gifts!!:: Mom and Jen together got me : 134 piece set of Prismacolor Markers. I am one happy lil artist. (The uber nift thing is I was looking for them on Ebay and I found a decent deal then found a better deal on a retailer site.. then kept looking, poked into a page that didn't look like a sales site and found it was indeed a sales site and furthermore a CANADIAN sales site. Now it was awesome enough that they sold the markers for 1.95 each.. thats damned cheap. It was MORE awesome that they sold them for that much in CANADIAN DOLLARS!!!! which means 40% to USA DOLLARS!! I got the set for 156.78 WITH FREE SHIPPING!! OMG!! And the sales lady said "Aboot!" ! ROFL! Note: No offense intended to Canadians. I'm not really making fun. Its just so CUTE how they say "about" I love it ^-^\/) Ahem. Continuing: Eric got me: Neverwinter Nights Gold Edition Neverwinter Nights: Hoards of the Underdark Vicki (Eric's mom) got me: A card with 25 $ and took me out to dinner ^-^ Ryans. It was good. Dad ...: is giving me mom's old Jeep when he buys her a new one next week. This is so that I will have a seperate vehicle from Eric to go to college with when I start in Summer semester. That is like.. so awesome (even if the Jeep is kinda crappy and needs work) because I will be able to drive on my own without borrowing his truck ^=^ (think this influenced his decision??) All in all a very good birthday tho I have to say I was a little sad that most of my friends seemed to have forgotten.. (as in, they didn't wish me a happy birthday or anything. I don't care if they didn't give me a gift, I'd just like to know they remembered me.) But at least it turned out happy and cheery as opposed to like.. last year... *eyes last year and decides not to bring it up further.* Anyway... I've babbled enough. 11:34 pm	Merry Miss Truss-Pot died. She was the kitten we found by the road that came to our neighbor's and ended up with us. I cared for her as best I could, but it was too late for her. What I can say about Miss Truss Pot... is that she was a wonderful kitten. The sweetest Kitten I ever had. She was so brave... I know she knew she was dying. She was afraid of nothing. She was loving and sweet... She sat with me for hours and just let me pet her.. or cuddled my hand... She made me happy. She knew I needed it. Eric and I gave her a Norse funeral rite... He carried three lit sticks of sandlewood insence and the stems and leaves of the rose we put in her coffin. (Small box with fine red velvet cloth set into it, thick to make a little pillow... with baby's breath sprinkled over it.. We placed her in the box with her bell ball and her dum-dum that she had played with in the brief time she was with us... then placed the rose over her body...) I carried the coffin. We gave a 'procession' as we went to get the shovel.. then back to the burial site... I blessed the site with a Celtic blessing for a child that has died... Blessed be our mother spring... thy life was brough in honor... Blessed be our summer days... happy days... thy life was lived in honor... Blessed be the autumn days... days ye did not see... Be kind, thee gentle winter... thee gentle child... thy life was given in love. Remember her in honor. Placing a stick of insense at the top, right, then left of the grave as I spoke the blessing... Then I placed the coffin into the grave... and Eric threw the rose stems and leaves on top of it... and as we covered the grave we spoke the Norse funeral rite that the Vikings spoke to send off their kin...: Lo! there do I see my fathers. Lo! there do I see my mothers, my sisters, and my brothers. Lo! there do I see the line of my people, back to the beginning. They call to me. They bid me to take my place amongst them, in the halls of the gods, where the Brave and True may live on....forever. And we walked away... and went to finish the rite. The Vikings, after sending off the dead, would go and feast and drink their sorrows away... knowing that the dead would not wish them to be sad... They honored them with one last drink in their honor.. a party... and smiles and laughter... What one would wish to hear from their friends.. not tears. So we are drinking now. Drinking and playing Yu-Gi-Oh with Jarrod. He showed up just as we finished the wake. It was the most beautiful wake I have ever seen. It was very sincere and loving. Miss Truss-Pot will be missed... so greatly. I adored my sweet little kitty... and she shall never be forgotten. Never. In Memory of Merry Miss Truss-Pot. Go in peace, my sweet friend. 11:51 am	Merry Holidays. I dislike them personally. I can't stand all of the pretencious "good will," fake smiles, gifts given out of obligation rather than desire to do so... I hate it. Plus, a sad time of year for me ever since the passing of my best friend 5 years ago December 21. Since that day, Christmas has never meant much to me. Its been empty. ~I've been so alone for so long.~ I miss him. Anyway, drew an xmas pic at the very last minute. Well, I drew it before the last minute... I just inked and colored it at the very last minute because my mom JUST let me open my Prismacolors... I asked her... 'If you're not going to wrap it.. why not let me have them early so I can color my xmas pic with them?" "Oooh you cant have them early!! Thats not fair!" Then she gives them to me early -_-() but not early enough to make the pic great. *sigh* It sucks. I suck. I am blue. Jill (my lil sis. 6 years old) Gets the coolest gift from me this year. She looks up to me so much... I'm her hero... and I draw.. so she has started drawing ... and she's NOT bad for a 6 year old!! When she comes to visit she always wants to use my art sets... and I don't always let her because I'm afraid she'll ruin my brushes and make messes... tho I let her use my pencils... well for Xmas I bought the following: A canvas tote 5 sable hair brushes System 3 Acryllic starter set with 10 colors a pallet Creative Vision artist's drawing set. (includes three pencils of different leads, an ebony pencil, a charcoal pencil, a smudger, a factsis eraser, a good pencil sharpener, a charcoal sharpener and a lil booklet that teaches drawing techniques) a set of colored pencils a set of markers a sketchbook (The same one as I use) a watercolor canvas book (Sheets of thin canvas. What I use to paint on with my acryllics because its cheap and gets the job done. Perfect for a starting painter. Like her.. or me. :P) And this is what I did: Painted "Jillian" on the front with a pretty ribbon swirling along under it and a big pretty purple bow. Jillian was painted in blues and the rest was in purples... Then I splotched the front with purples and blues and reddish purples that resulted of me trying to mix purple the first couple times... It looks really artsy. I like it. Yeah yeah, I suck at painting -_-() And I stuffed all the pretty art suppies inside and tied a beautiful bow (HUGE BOW) on the front with little curly ribbons (I like making curly ribbons ^-^) and thats her gift. An art set. A real art set. Like what her big brother uses. ^-^. She'll adore it. I can't wait til present time.. just to give her that. I baked lemon bars -_- and I have to go sprinkle powdered sugar on them and cut them and make them all pretty... then I'm possibly driving to Bham to get a book with my bookcard that Zach bought me for xmas. Gooood present. Getting a How to Draw Manga book with it. I own two.. I have some bootlegged ones on a cd.. I need two I can think of off hand. Bodies and Anatomy ... and Occult and Horror. Other people got gifts from me too: Jarrod - A shirt from Spencer with a picture of a bird, a dog, then a bird again that reads "Swallow Bitch, Swallow." Zach - The Oh! My Goddess! Action figure of.. Pelaru? that he wanted so badly. The limited White eddition. Jen - A Jei plushy. Handmade by me. Yeah yeah.. its home made.. but these things take time and effort! Thats furry snowleopard print material. Its sooooft. And Jei is too. His face, I hand painted.. tho I suck.. I like his ears and hair ^-^ Loooong Tail! Miho - Haven't sent it yet, but he will be getting a burnt copy of the cd I have with my How to Draw Manga books on it and I'm scanning my other books to send him ... PLUS.. a secret surprise.. which.. he doesn't get to know about yet.. but he will.. because he'll read this.. but he wont know what it is so I CANT TELL YOU!
